This is a thrown ceramic form that has been incised, excised and stained with iron oxide... except for the upper portion and inside, which has been glazed . The vessel is 12 inches tall and 5 inches wide. This is one in a series of forms in which the body has been ornamented ,washed with iron oxide and partially glazed (especially the lip and inside ).
